About me

20 Years
Of Experience.
Now, that's something!

Arnaud Pitois - Animatics Editor.jpg

I’m a London-based video editor and animator with over 20 years of experience across animation, documentary, corporate, and digital content. I love the craft of editing:The rhythm, the storytelling, the moment a cut just works.

My recent work has been in high-end animation. At Jellyfish Pictures I edited on Wolf King for Netflix - a Kidscreen Award winner and double Emmy nominee. Dog Man for DreamWorks, nominated for Best Edited at the BFE A Cut Above Awards.

Before that I ran my own production company, Shepherd Lamalle Film & Animations, for over a decade, working with clients ranging from Canal Jimmy and Warner Brothers to Médecins Sans Frontières and the International Commity of the Red Cross.

Earlier in my career I trained as a Location Director and worked at YCTV and Princess Productions before going freelance. Along the way I’ve cut content for CNBC, the International Herald Tribune, Bombay Sapphire and HMRC...  which means I’m equally comfortable with broadcast deadlines, brand storytelling, and everything in between.

I also spent ten years as a film publicist with MPRM, covering Cannes, Sundance, and Toronto on films including The Matrix, Kung Fu Panda, Bee Movie, Dreamgirls, Virgin Suicide... It gave me a deep love of cinema and an instinct for what makes a story land.

I’m bilingual in English and French, and based in London with a move to France planned for 2027. I’m happy to work in-studio, hybrid, or fully remote, from the UK or France.
